So finally we've gotten our collaborative blog up and running. We were keen to continue working together after meeting whilst studying on the MA illustration at Camberwell College of Arts and thought this blog would be a good way of developing our shared interests. As I am in London and Lizzie is in Australia so we figure it can be active 24 hours!
This is our first joint project and also the first outing of the Adana Printing press we bought at the Bristol Artists book fair last April from a very nice man called Bob. During the summer were also lucky enough to acquire a good collection of letterpress ornaments too. The 'Slow Press' is a work in progress but I'm hoping this year we'll be able to get it up and running in a more organised way! I think we need a bit more practice using the press to get used to all it's little quirks and eccentricities but it was a fun first attempt.
